| Anthony Johnson Senior Pastor Pastor's Biography Reverend Anthony Johnson was born to Emily Johnson and was raised in a small town in southwest Georgia known as Pavo. In 1976, he graduated from Central High School in Thomasville, Georgia and attended Paine College in Augusta , Georgia. He moved to Orlando in 1979 and recommitted his life to Christ, along with accepting the call of God in 1980. He graduated from the International Bible Institute & Seminary with a Degree in Theology. He received training from the Central Florida Diocese of Episcopal Church at the Institute of Christian Studies. His course emphasis was the Integration of Psychology, Criminology and Theology. Rev. Johnson has been a member of Pine Hills Community Church since its inception in February 1985 and was appointed Associate Pastor in June 1988 . In October 1999 , Rev. Herbert L. Smith appointed him as Senior Associate Pastor. His philosophy is – “Jesus First, others second.” He stands steadfast in his belief that “service is the price that he must pay for taking up space on God’s earth.” He believes that when life gets tough (as life so often does), he should try to remember the words of Mr. Scott, “Just Do The Best You Can” and draw strength from the Word of God which says “I can do all things through Christ which strengthen me.” Phil 4:13 He is married to the lovely Stephanie Johnson and from their union they have a son, Brandon, age 16. |

| Rev.Wilbert Bradley Senior Associate Minister Wilbert Bradley is a 1967 graduate of Bethune - Cookman College, Daytona Beach , Florida with a BS in Mathematics. He has a wife and two children . Minister Bradley has been a member of the Pine Hills Community Church (PHCC) fellowship since 1985. Shortly after uniting with PHCC, he was appointed Superintendent of Sunday School by founding Pastor , the Rev. Earl Nobles . Minister Bradley was ordained as a Deacon in 1986 and was one of three original deacons of the Pine Hills Community Church. He acknowledged his calling to the ministry in 1994 , was licensed to preach that ame year and ordained into the ministry in May 2000. He served as Associate Minister of PHCC until his election/ appointment to Senior Associate Pastor in March 2003. In addition to his Senior Associate Pastoral duties, Minister Bradley is Director of the Evangelism and Jail Ministries of PHCC. |

| Rev. Herbert Smith Pastor Emeritus “Jesus First ” is the motto of our Pastor Emeritus, Rev. Herbert L. Smith. Herbert L. Smith was born and raised in Hallsboro, North Carolina. After graduating from High School, he served in the USAF . He earned five medals for Outstanding Service and received an Honorable Discharge from the military in March,1955. Upon returning to the States, he met and married the former Legray Miller (deceased) where upon they were blessed with four children: Laura, Anthony, Lavonda, and Yolanda. Residing in Brooklyn , NY, in 1955, Rev. Smith and his family united with First Jerusalem Baptist Chruch . Heeding the call , he was licensed to Minister in April , 1970 and ordained in October , 1971. Rev.Smith served in many leadership capacities at First Jerusalem prior to being chosen as an Asst. Pastor . In June, 1979,he accepted the position as Pastor of First Jerusalem Baptist Church. Bible Doctrine and Pastoral Theology Education for Rev. Smith were vast : Ambassador College of Pasadena California, Faith for Today Bible School in New York City and Pastoral Theology for one year at the Community Bible Institute in Brooklyn, New York. Rev. Smith and his family united with the Pine Hills Community Church in May,1991. After relocating to Orlando,Florida. He served as an Associate Minister under the leadership of our Founder, Rev. Earl Nobles , and in 1996 was appointed Senior Associate Pastor. While at PHCC, Rev. Smith has been an ctive part of several ministries. Some of these ministries include Brotherhood, Bible Study , Church Council and Director of the Pastoral Care Ministry. Rev. Smith is on the Board of the Orange County Jail Ministry. He’s also an active citizen within this community, ministering to the needs of the sick and frequently visiting the shut in. After the passing of the Founder and Presiding Pastor, Earl P. Nobles in July 1999, Rev. Smith was elected as Pastor/President of Pine Hills Community Church. In 2002, Rev. Herbert Smith announced his retirement as Pastor/President.With the election of Rev. Anthony Johnson on November 10 ,2002 as Pastor/ President, Rev. Smith became Pastor Emeritus of the Pine Hills Community Church. |
