History of Pine Hills Community Church

After much prayer and seeking the Lord, our Founder, the late
Rev. Earl Nobles, was persuaded that it was God's will to
establish a body of believers in the Pine Hills area of Orlando.

The Lord opened the doors of Oak Hill Elementary School,
February 17, 1985.  Nine believers responded when the Invitation
was extended establishing the initial membership of Pine Hills
Community Church.  Our final service at Oak Hill was held on
Easter Sunday, April 7, 1985, with services resuming at the West
Orlando Rotary Club.

In December, 1986, negotiations were begun to purchase the
property located at 1331 N. Pine Hills Road and on February 2,
1987, thanks to God and to our many brothers and sisters in
Christ, the papers were signed and the Pine Hills Community
Church had a home of its own!

In the 18 years since we held our first service, God has blessed
us to grow spiritually and our congregation grew to where major
expansion plans were being considered-even to building a whole
new Church! After months of negotiations, on October 29, 1998
papers were signed that finalized the purchase of our new home.

As we look back over the whole negotiation process, we can see
the hand of God from start to finish.  Throughout the
negotiations, God manifested Himself at critical times to turn what
could have been stumbling blocks into stepping-stones.

On October 28, 2001 we opened & dedicated the “Earl Nobles
Family Service Center” in honor of the late Pastor, Rev. Earl
Nobles.

In all of this we say, "To God be the glory” for the things He has
done.
